I've designed, documented, implemented and often redesigned a
handful of game systems and
architectures, mostly in a C# .Net environment. I lack experience on Networking and
performance-sensitive systems, but have work experience with GUI heavy projects.
I really enjoy the intersection between reasoning about complex systems and
promoting a tailormade, efficient solution.
Game Tool Developer
Most of the tools I developped were game-specific, and most of those were made in Unity Engine.
I've made level-creation tools, art assisting tools and content administration tools, but not many real-time-oriented tools yet.
Tool development is what I love the most, in part because it scratches my itch to serve my coworkers.
Gameplay Programmer
As a gameplay programmer, I have way more experience on turn-based, discrete and systemic games than I have on control-based games.
Despite being quite slow when it comes to pure geometry or math, I am proficient on ui programming and implementations of complex game mechanics.
I'm the most useful when assisting a "primary" developer, either paving the way or cleaning up the mess.
UI & UX Designer
I have an intermediate level of training in UI/UX. I am capable of thumbnailing interactions, producing mockups and wireframes.
I am aware about the need for inclusive design, and participated in efforts to make game UIs accomodate to the largest public possible.
I'd describe myself as a UI/UX enthousiast, and I often find the field to be under-appreciated.
